An honest and candid review of the UK’s Active Transport opportunities, challenges and failures
Adam, Laura and Ned have quiet possibly created the podcast every driver stuck in traffic, every cyclist pedalling around, every pedestrian, everyone riding a bus, train or tram....hang on a minute, every person should listen to this. We’re all people after all, regardless of how we choose to move around, and this podcast appraises these choices. The world’s faced some crazy challenges in 2020, and just majoring on the healthcare implications of an unprecedented global pandemic, reimagining the way we use the built environment around us could help in so many ways to support the economy, support health and wellbeing, free space on roads for essential services and challenge UK’s default Car Culture by preventing viable alternatives within cities who are ready and willing to make changes (not all are...so why not let cities which are lead the way). Thanks for pulling this together 😀

Engaging presenters with good rapport with one another, and super interesting content. I, for one, would like to hear more about kerb design 😉

Intelligent discussion around the topics of active travel and the importance of cycling and walking as transport. Great hosts in Ned Boulting, Laura Laker and Adam Tranter. Definitely worth a listen and look forward to the series.
