Almost had me ...
New twist on crime podcasts are always welcomed and exciting! So far there are two (as of this writing) out and I eagerly subscribed (without hearing first!) and downloaded them both. My first pause was Jaimie Beebe’s voice. Ack! Like nails on a chalkboard. Remember that saying “a face for radio”? Yeah well ... her voice is for silent movies. But since the guests are, or should be, doing most of the talking, I persevered. But then the proverbial nail ... their second guest made some political comments (and hey, it’s a guest, no control over that) that BOTH hosts jumped on the bandwagon with snide remarks and laughter. Not cool nor needed and not wanted. I listen to podcasts for the topic I’m interested in. When I want to listen to politics, I know where to tune in ... and it ain’t true crime podcasts! I guess it’s their right to espouse any opinion they want. It is their podcast. And it’s my right to unsubscribe and not tune in again. Which I did.

Jamie has a voice that is really hard to listen to. She should get voice lessons because her voice is so annoying and detracts from content.

This is a very good podcast. I would prefer to have less host banter and filler though. The victim’s voice is all you need to convey the story.
