“It is hard to put into words how this podcast has been such a blessing to me! I have battled my weight since I was a little girl. At the age of 11 I was obese. I have always found my self worth in the wrong things. I have always loved God but surrendering to him - really surrendering to him has been terrifying as goofy as that sounds. I have been in a disfunctional comfort zone and keeping my weight on keeps me from being rejected and feeling that deep pain. God will never reject me. I have been praying for God to help me with my overeating and to pull off layer by layer to show me who I am in him. My weight is my weight but my heart is what he is after.
