Mind Opening
I was just looking for a random new podcast…I wasn’t intentionally looking for this type of help but I like a variety of what I listen to. So that fact that I randomly clicked this and it relates to my current struggle with my husband and I. Him and I both have Bipolar and ADHD…but we have different functioning struggles. I can comfortably stretch myself super thin and care for everyone and don’t require a ton of “me time” and I don’t have an addictive personality so when I’m done with something I just drop it. My husband on the other hand requires a lot of “me time” and needs to reset more often and has an addictive personality. I can also ignore the mess of our kids until I can really get to it properly, but he goes and cleans it right away and gets frustrated when the kids mess it up right away. So finding this balance to help us both out has been amazing. We are starting to better understand each others highs and lows.

As a therapist, this book is amazing. I feel like KC Davis is a kindred spirit.

I found KC on tiktok a while ago and she’s been such an amazing influence. Making me feel “normal” in my struggles and offering amazing advice on things that could help. She’s such a kind soul. So glad to have more content of hers here!
