“The older I get the less tolerance I have for amateurish annoying stuff. This podcast approaches my intolerance limit. Two big problems: the 'casters don't quite know how to avoid sounding awkward with each other; and they too often don't know when to shut up when interviewing someone, and let the guest talk. The worst was when Victoria's grandfather, who worked on the Apollo program, was interviewed. One of the 'casters kept interrupting and interjecting his own opinions and thoughts, a typical but egregious mistake of amateurs who lack self-confidence and are not comfortable being out of the limelight.
I listen to this and other podcasts while building an RV in the garage. This podcast belongs to the class that I don't mind if it's drowned out by air tools and noisy operations. The other class of podcasts or broadcasts, that I really like to hear, I put on pause or delay my build a few minutes.”
