Studio 2 Extra: Inside VP Kamala Harris’ Pennsylvania Campaign
Listen now
Description
What’s it like to run an actual ground game in a battleground state like Pennsylvania? Thousands of door-knocking volunteers turned out for Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign, but voter turnout in Philly was lower than Democrats would have liked. A top Democrat says it’s too soon to diagnose what’s next for the Democratic Party, but more grassroots organizing will be part of the solution. Avi talks with Brendan McPhillips, a veteran of five Democratic presidential campaigns, most recently serving as a senior adviser to the Harris for President Pennsylvania team.
