An essential podcast for artists and teaching artists
Studying the song podcast with Korrie Yamoaka is now one of my favorite podcasts! There is a lot of overwhelm everywhere right now but I see it especially in the arts — and I feel it myself. This podcast feels so luxurious in that it really breaks down each step that is essential for success and helps you repackage, redefine, and renew your joy in the industry and your place in it. She really gives the actor practical tools to bring their own musicianship skills to life and make real and stratigic choices musically, dramatically, and authentically. I’ve been loving her interviews with people who are on Broadway Tours, composers writing material we are interpreting, and even discussions about agents, what to sing, type or essence, and supporting the artist the power to recognize their skill set and bring what they want to bring into the room. I can’t recommend her enough as a coach and as a podcast host.

I love the podcast and have even started her coaching program. Korrie is a fabulous musician and knows so much about musical theater. I’m so glad she’s going to be adding some new podcasts!
