“They "expose" history that they don't understand. Complete misinformation. I will give one example, but the entire series is trying to take history and apply sound bite level understanding to well understood ideas and events. Revisionist idiocy.
For example, they say that since Lincoln stated, "If there be those who would not save the Union, unless they could at the same time save slavery, I do not agree with them. If there be those who would not save the Union unless they could at the same time destroy slavery, I do not agree with them. My paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union, and is not either to save or to destroy slavery."
they have said that American's are misinformed about him being a staunch abolitionist (of course they change the words to dumb it down for their audience).
The key phase in this sentence is "in this struggle"(also removed from their edit for some reason). Keeping the country whole was more important than any other changes (abolishment of slavery) to Lincoln. That does NOT mean that wasn't a staunch abolitionist. People hearing this without prior knowledge are probably saying, oh I guess Lincoln isn't that great. The authors of this need to read a book and learn why we have a Lincoln monument.”
