“While a little too full of self-aggrandizing at times (main host likes to talk about how special his life path is compared to everyone else’s), I always considered this podcast to be like a nice spiritual blanket. But the recent one with Daniel D’Neuville made me lose all respect for the hosts, as they did not challenge any of his anti-science claims. First, he self-diagnosed himself as having COVID-19 due to a mere headache and fever, despite never having been tested or seen by a doctor. Second, he said coronavirus is a type of flu (it’s cold viruses that are coronaviruses; there are many of them, all varying in severity. It is not a type of flu). Then, he said this is a “manufactured crisis” and was confused as to why we’ve shut businesses down when people die daily from things like heart attacks. (The answer is, of course, that heart attacks aren’t contagious. Additionally, the regular flu kills only 0.2% of people, while COVID-19 kills anywhere between 2-10% of those infected, depending on the location, averaging at 2-5%. It is far more severe, and even those that survive it need hospitalization at much greater numbers, which is why hospitals are completely overwhelmed to the point of expanding to university buildings and other spaces. It’s also why we don’t have enough ventilators, masks, and other supplies—yet Daniel continues to insist this crisis is “manufactured.” Not to mention, survivors often walk away with scarred lungs and kidneys.) If that weren’t enough, right before I stopped listening because I simply could not take it anymore, Daniel said “vaccines are only 10% affective,” which is a disgusting, blatant lie. If that’s the case, I challenge him to find a modern case of polio. He’s a conspiracy nut job who thinks the government will force a dangerous vaccine on the populace for a mild illness, basically. And the fact that none of these things were challenged by the hosts—not even a single question to check if what he’s saying is accurate—tells me they’re not people I want to listen to when it comes to any topic. If people listen to this podcast and think it’s accurate, they will be risking their (and other) lives. You should be ashamed of yourselves! The amount of dangerous misinformation you’re spreading is frightening. If you don’t care about your own lives, at least think about your neighbors who may be immunocompromised and want to live!”
