A wealth of valuable information and straight talk
I found out about this podcast because a friend of mine was on it. I listened to his interview, and then started to listen to them all. This is a great resource for professional entertainers and those that work in the biz of show. This is the podcast I wish I had thought to do (well, actually I'd thought of something similar, but didn't ever make it happen) And now I don't have to! Straight talk, easy conversations, and valuable tips. Kris asks the same questions every time, keeps the interview moving along, and over time you get some great and valuable tips from performers who are working on how they got there. So if you are a newbie figuring it out, there's something for you, and for older guys like me who are already working as performers, there's plenty of pro-tips and ideas to appropriate into your own business practice. The focus seems to be on magicians, which is how Kris got interested in the subject, but there are other performers on the podcast as well. Kris is just about to go on hiatus for 6 weeks, but there will be plenty of episodes to choose from!

More reviews of Successful Performercast by Kris Sheppard
Just listened to the first episode, and even though I'm not a magician or performer, I found it so encouraging to listen to Shawn's story! Kris is an amazing host and I can't wait to listen to the rest.

Man this is awesome to hear a good buddy of mine that I have known for many many years doing a pod cast. Back in the day I was the drummer for Kris' band Driven Souls. You have always wanted to succeed in life and you have. You are a talented brother and have always used your God given talent....Read full review »

Sometimes I have to turn off the podcast when driving or when I'm rushing getting ready for a gig because the podcast information is so good, that I'll need to come back to it when I'm able to take notes. Jill "Silly Jilly" Schmidt
