Succinct & Informative
No frills, no ads, no chit chat about the weather. Just solid nutritional info from an expert in the field who is obviously a researcher at heart, as opposed to someone with empty promises about a crazy passing diet craze. I especially appreciated the candor in the “Don’t quit, ask again” episode. If you’ll allow me to NOT be succinct now…we started on real bread about 5 years ago after a friend recommended it for some toilet issues one of our children was having. She introduced me to your website and I was captivated by my friend’s personal experience and everything I began to read. Well, after weeks of research and getting up the nerve, I did it. It quickly fixed the toilet issues and we noticed so many other benefits we haven’t looked back since. I don’t think people are crazy when they go “gluten-free.” I often go gluten-free myself when I’m out and I can’t have my real freshly milled bread now. Who enjoys feeling like they’ve just swallowed a lead balloon? But I do share with my gluten-free friends that commercial bread versus real bread is like comparing apples to oranges. I want to shout from the rooftops, “You can eat bread again! Mill it yourself! It’s so much better in every way! You can do it!” Thank you for your podcast, and for all the digital resources you have provided, Sue, to walk with people every step of the way in doing something completely new with confidence and success. I’m so so thankful I made the decision to try it (even though it was scary to invest that amount of money in something I didn’t know how to do at first)! It started me down a road to better health, and my life and my body now look and feel better than I can remember in many many years. My kids and I listen to your show together some and it has led to many great conversations about health. A foundation for good health is being laid in their lives and I’m so thankful. A sincerest thank you from my heart for what you have done and are doing for me and my family.

On November 2022, my wife called me a glutton. I wasn’t fat, but after thinking about it, it was certainly true. I can cookies chocolate chip cookies, chocolate pie, lemon pie, peach pie, tea cakes, chocolate cake, scones, muffins, banana bread … all from scratch…… I cannot have just 2-3 pieces...Read full review »
