There’s a quiet all over the world
I’ve listened to most episodes and downloaded those I haven’t for walks with my dog. I really have enjoyed Cheryl’s talks with her literary friends and intend to check out a few of their works, especially Joy Harjo and Billy Collins. So glad to hear Cheryl will continue Sugar Calling podcast. It’s one of the best I’ve found, but I was also a big fan of Dear Sugars.

This is exactly what my soul needed to hear right now! I don’t know how I stumbled upon this on its first day, but what a fantastic interview and the perfect message for this very moment. Can’t wait to hear the next one!

Great overall. But Cheryl pushes herself a bit too much into the middle of the conversation for my taste. Curious what her second episode will be.

Cheryl Strayed is a welcome voice of compassion and wisdom in hard times. It was a great joy and relief to hear her chatting to George Saunders. Thank you for this lovely exchange right now. A real comfort!
