Description
Obeying God. Last Sunday we learnt that God is in control and his covenant of salvation with us. If we believe God has our best interest at heart, then we need to learn how to obey him which is the theme to today's readings. The word "obedience" comes from Latin and means "to listen intently". It means to be attentive to the ways in which God reveals himself and to respond to the invitation to accept and follow God's will and guidance.
