They Pull Me Back In
Got into NBA basketball with the Steve Nash Suns (want to say 05/06) and have been a ride or die ever since. Every crushing playoff series with Nash and Stat, every forgettable mid to late 2010s season, I’m all in. Then we have this magic run in 2021, I find this podcast and I’ve been enjoying it ever since. I have to confess I’ve had to unsubscribe after each season. Not bc the pod is bad, it’s just been 2 absolute kicks in the nuts to end each year and I had to disconnect. I think “I can’t get as invested, day in day out, the pain is too much”. Then the season starts, and I get pulled back in and resubscribe bc it’s so fun to listen to this pod chop it up about this suns team. John and Matt are fantastic, obviously fans of the suns but never go full homer. I now live in Chicago so the YouTube stream starts when I’m usually in bed. But a great great pod to start the day with these two. I know it’s hard but remember it’s not the destination it’s the journey. I do have a championship mindset with this season but I’m going to try and enjoy the ride with Matt and John!

5 star rating. Now please just let my wife and children go. Seriously though probably the the best blend of actual basketball talk with some humor. Honestly I just like knowing that after every game I can depend on your pod to confirm my own analysis. Keep up the consistent work boys.
