“Before Super mamas I used to feel alone and anxious in regards to my parenting. I always felt that what I was doing was just not good enough, as a working mom I definitely felt the “mom guilt”. However, that changed when I started listening to this podcast because I realized I was not alone and it comforted me to not feel bad for being a working mom. A lot of the topics discussed are relevant, interesting and often times inspiring. I became inspired by all the successful mama Latinas! I truly believe that super mamas is responsible for inspiring me to take the role as executive director for the 4GIRLS organization.They are responsible because they, along with other great super mamas taught me not to be afraid and work hard for your dreams. I was listening to successful Latinas share their stories of success and their struggles along the way, and that helped me so much in knowing that my path may not be easy but it will go where I will it to go. This year’s 4girls conference included mamas I met at the posadas last year, Jessica and Marcela. I also met Lola who has connected me with her contacts that Benefit the youth I work with. Anyways this is a long review but I wanted to express my gratitude and let the super mamas team know they truly made a difference in my life and in turn the lives of the young girls we serve at 4GIRLS.
