“It has been very fun listening to this unique take on The Man of Steel. I look forward to hearing the rest of the story.
If I could make one suggestion, it would simply be to use a few different voice actors. Hearing a man’s voice speak for the women is a bit distracting. If you must stick to one voice, I wouldn’t do an imitation. I’d simply use the same voice for everyone.
Also, this is a very minor nitpick, but I see lots of people who write Superman/Smallville stories give heavy southern accents to Smallville folk. This is not how people from Kansas sound at all. Again, it’s a minor nitpick, but as someone from a Kansas town very similar to Smallville (our town even legally changed its name to Smallville for a day once,) it drives me nuts when people assume farmers = hillbillies.
Ultimately though, this story is great. The voice work is just slightly distracting for me, personally.”
