Not what I thought
After hearing ads for this pod on other podcasts I thought I’d check it out. I thought it would be more in the historical vein but it appears to be a fiction podcast. 3 stars because the stories aren’t bad, but I’m not sure how the advertisements for this pod match up to the actual content in Parcast’s mind.

I love the host, and I like the idea of learning about the history of superstitions. But the stories are just too cheesy. I listened to this for a few weeks, then got tired of it. “...said Martha.” I don’t need a fictionalization group of characters to understand the history behind superstitions. If I wanted that, I’d head to Audible for narrated books. Much more entertained by other parcast podcasts that shoot straight. Disappointed.
