The bread is great. No sandwich for me, thanks.
I was excited to hear researched studies on superstitions... knowing that there would be the typical parcast dramatic flourishes... but this is a bookending of what seems to be unrealized treatments of 80s-90s teen horror screenplays, that are couched, without any real understandable narrative transition, between real and interesting historical information. This podcast should cut its length and stick to the advertised exploration of the subjects it pretends to, and save the spec scripts for another place... like an actual pitch room. OR if these are real ‘urban legends’ (very very doubtful)... talk about where they came from.

The fictional stories are fun but I was kind of expecting more about the actual lore.

This podcast definitely wasn’t what I expected. J thought it would be all about origins and histories like a lot of Parcast’s other podcasts. But I really like it. It’s still entertaining.
