“Surf Splendor is an excellent mix of long form interviews, surf culture and surf news. David’s interviews are clearly well researched and professionally conducted. The subjects are different that the usual low brow bra-fest of some of the other surf podcast. Surf Splendor is like the Surfers Journal compared to most others (not that there are many) being Tracks. Both styles are good but its great to have a choice.
Surf Splendor also simulcasts with Scott Bass and Down the Line podcast. This adds a surf new style that contrasts the in-depth interview style of the normal podcast.
Highly recommended for anyone interested in a deeper understanding of surfing, surfboard and surf culture. Hopefully he can grow the podcast and access some Australian legends.”
