“Dr. C.’s podcast demonstrates the principles he promotes: diginity, respect, and civility. He respects his listener by using clear, inclusive language. Every narcissist is not a cisgender male. Because my narcissist is female, listening to endless references to narcissists as, “he,” and “him,” makes me feel even more unseen and invisible than I already do! Which is quite a feat! I also feel confident that Dr. C. has plenty of knowledge about and experience with narcissistic people and traits. He brings a healthy dose of humility and vulnerability to his work, which is refreshing. And he seems to appreciate the nuances of living with a narcissist. If you watch his YouTube videos, sometimes his dog will wander into the room or be sleeping nearby, which I really relate positively to, having grown up with dogs in my home.
