The accused was a convicted sex offender who raped a minor (not to mention the laundry list of other offenses)… And the host immediately absolves him of all crimes because, black. There are ways to elicit sympathy, provoke thought, and reveal potential systemic biases while still upholding accountability. Try harder.”
