Bio: Gemma Webb, CEO and President of RetuRO SGR
Gemma Webb is a visionary business leader with a distinguished career spanning over three decades in various industries, serving as the CEO and President of RetuRO SGR since November 2022.
With a profound commitment to sustainable development and circular economy practices, she has been instrumental in steering RetuRO toward becoming one of
Europe's largest circular economy companies.
She has been President of the Romanian Irish Business Association since October 2020, where she plays an important role in strengthening economic ties between Romania and Ireland.
Her journey in the tobacco industry is notable. She spent over 18 years with British American Tobacco.
Academically, Gemma Webb holds an MBA from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, a BA in Math and Economics from University College Cork, and a Diploma in Management Studies from Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University. She also has a diploma and certification in Chartered Directorship from the Institute of Directors (IoD).
