“The story was fine, but the reader's voice was almost comically bad. It's really disconcerting to listen to a romance where the heroine's voice sounds six years old. Also, it was read incredibly slowly and with lots of incorrect pronunciation.
For me, the solution was to play it on my iPod at 2x speed. Then, the narration was closer to a normal speed...
I appreciate the time and effort the author must have put in to furnish us with this free podcast. Hearing a child speaking about and having sex, though, is just icky.”
