So much stuff - all of it interesting
This podcast is entertaining, informative, and incredibly well researched. It has really helped my understanding of Sappho, both the writer and the poetry itself, while giving me a wider context than I expected. I also love the fact that they’ve created song versions of the poem discussed in every episode (as the poems would’ve been sung). It seems obvious in retrospect but it is such a great touch. Also - turns out papyrology is much more interesting than it sounds.

These ladies are excellent, and non shy about sharing their opinion about the patriarchy. The recent episodes on provenance has been very enlightening. I hope that they will consider releasing the songs they perform on a CD someday.
