Genre Love from Female Filmmakers
This podcast is great. April Wolfe, a great critic and writer, teams up with different female filmmakers each episode to break down genre work. It’s a fabulous show, one that makes want to watch (or re-watch) the film at hand and check out the work by the filmmaker who is on. I teach a horror class and get a lot of female students who love genre work, but feel left out, as if the genre work is not for them. This podcast is the antidote for that and one I recommend to them often.
