“If you’re looking for a podcast about Malifaux, you aren’t going to find one much more informative than this. Even if you’re not a player, the episodes are really interesting and entertaining. They also have episodes about other games, but where they really shine for me is the conversation that’s about life as a gamer - being in a relationship with one, or perhaps raising gamer kids. The stumbling block for the show - and it’s been a big one - is when the host decides to be overtly negative about a game he doesn’t enjoy. Perhaps I take it personally because it is sometimes a game I enjoy, but simply from the perspective as a listener, it seems unnecessary and even petty. It’s okay to disagree with the policies of the company, but if you’re calling another game bad or dumb, to me that negatively impacts how seriously I take the speaker. All in all, a pretty good podcast, and worth trying out for gamers of all types.”
