Rethinking video games with Ash Brandin
Big fan of the show, recently listened to Ash Brandin episode and it was mind blowing to say the least. I confess, I’m guilty as charged parent and was blinded sided by the stereotypes of the topics until… well now. Our teenage kid is into games it keeps him engaged and connected with close mates, played a vital role especially during Covid lockdown. He’s doing really well at school with high grades and top performers awards. I guess all three video games laws of attraction applies to him to a certain degree. However, relatedness must be the one, with his friends and school mates. Ironically, video games played a vital role in shaping who am I today. I learnt English to load and play games, taught myself coding to get more out of my computer and even publish basic codes before even going to school. Glad I stumbled across this episode, eye opening and timely.
