And just like that Round 8 of the BKT EuroCup - the Road To Greatness - is complete and we saw some outstanding individual performances while Valencia Basket remain the only undefeated team. The race for the playoffs is seriously heating up after a number of teams earned crucial victories in this final week before the EuroCup takes a two week break for the FIBA national team window action.
Sergio Llebres and David Hein review the eighth round of action, highlighting U-BT Cluj-Napoca surviving a massive comeback by 7Bet-Lietkabelis Panevezys and Wolves Twinsbet Vilnius winning yet again. We also go in depth into Gabriel Chachashvili’s surprising outburst for Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem, Marko Simonovic being a key part of Bahcesehir College Istanbul’s win over ratiopharm Ulm; Devon Dotson playing extremely well for Joventut Badalona and Zsombor Maronka shining for Veolia Towers Hamburg.
Usually we would look at the action for next week’s action but Round 9 will not take place until Thursday/Friday November 28/29. We will have a podcast next week.
