Immersive and Full of Tension
This podcast beautifully marries old school dungeons and dragons characters and situations with a dark fantasy narrative while letting everything be determined by the dice and his knowledge of the characters. It’s a particular balance the the author does very well. It’s engaging, intense, and has had me more than a few times scared for the characters lives (I’m currently in ep 7). And the characters are fleshed out more and more over time as well. You can tell the amount of thought that’s gone into this must be immense, but it is just as rewarding to listen too. It’s a must listen for anyone who’s into these sort of stories/games.
