Straight up old school RPG without pulling punches!
I binge-listened to this. It’s exciting because not even the GM / Narrator knows what’s going to happen next because the dice truly tell the tale. I like how the characters are developed as the episodes progress, and you get to learn more about their past. Combat goes quickly without players bogging down the action with chatter, and the GM does a great job interpreting the various die rolls. Very dynamic.

My Dad (who introduced me to D&D as a child recommended this to me. And I’m currently working my way quickly through season 1. The show is thoughtfully put together and excellently told. The story is at times beautiful and brutal, the characters are well rounded and never safe.

Great podcast. Excellent quality and engaging storyline. Story keeps moving with unexpected developments while still keeping continuity of episodes over time. Also gives some insight into the choices/mechanics he is using.
