Really enjoy listening to Ben’s interview’s. His questions are intelligent and insightful and give the listener a really good feel for the artist he’s speaking with. Also, Ben lets it be about the artist and not himself. I love the variety of people he talks with and have found the diversity of topics covered great. There’s views on marketing, collaborating, ceramic and art education, history, the environment as well as dealing with the ups and downs of being an artist/craftsperson. There is the occasional interview were the person’s practice doesn’t engage me and I don’t finish it, but those are really rare. They are a great resource and show the diversity of ceramics practice in a really inclusive way. It’s a great way to understand the breadth and richness of the craft group I’m part of. Many Thanks for a great job!!
