jeff dumb
Jeff said that the lyrics of Fleet Foxes’ “Helplessness Blues” were boring and cliché, a mindnumbingly imbecilic statement. How someone can come to such an opinion after listening to such a lyrically potent, emotionally complex, and thought-provoking song eludes me. In saying this he showed heinous levels of blatant disrespect not only to the hardworking members of acclaimed band Fleet Foxes but to me, the listener, to my time, to the headphones I used to listen to this podcast, to himself, to music, to poetry, and to the English language. Try as I may, I can never forget the moment I heard him say this, and it makes me ill to remember. The fact that I let such nonsense enter my ears will haunt me to my grave, and I can only hope it haunts Jeff to his as well. Four stars.

What a great podcast! The hosts are engaging and funny. The viewpoints are insightful. I can’t wait for more episodes. P.S. this is Dan the host just checking that the reviews are working... but I also stand by everything I said. Please read this on the podcast.
