Even if I don’t agree I’m listening
My job requires me to deliver specimens in a lab and I’m constantly on the move so I can’t have music playing like a lot of my coworkers do to keep time from dragging. Thanks to some touch free headphones I’ve started listening to podcasts more but thanks to long shifts I’ve caught up on most of my usuals. While looking for something magic the gathering related, I randomly found you guys and I have to say I was instantly hooked. I generally only listen to the topics I know or have an opinion on but it’s always interesting to hear your views. My only complaints? Well. The jontron episode totally glossed over his fall from grace a few years ago (maybe you just don’t know) and was mostly newer stuff which I’d argue is weaker than some of his classic stuff (even if I don’t even watch that anymore) and the rent episode was hard to listen to because I felt Jeff was being unfair and so anti musical which as a musical theatre major and someone who still does theatre as a hobby, peeves me. But perhaps then I’m being just as unfair to him. Wanted to do 4.5, you deserve more than 4, so. I guess you talked me into 5 stars. Keep up the good work guys. Let’s get a commander game sometime :p

More reviews of Talk Me Into
What a great podcast! The hosts are engaging and funny. The viewpoints are insightful. I can’t wait for more episodes. P.S. this is Dan the host just checking that the reviews are working... but I also stand by everything I said. Please read this on the podcast.

Love every episode, but my favorite parts are always just you guys riffing with each other. Love the Five Star Brian bit and the sorry jim bit. Keep up the good work...Read full review »

Jeff said that the lyrics of Fleet Foxes’ “Helplessness Blues” were boring and cliché, a mindnumbingly imbecilic statement. How someone can come to such an opinion after listening to such a lyrically potent, emotionally complex, and thought-provoking song eludes me. In saying this he showed...Read full review »
