Jomboy is saving baseball
Jim and Jake are what this sport needs. For years all I’ve heard about baseball is that it’s a tired, boring sport. While I love this game, I couldn’t help but agree. In 2017, I felt more excited about the Yankees’ season. Obviously because a new Yankee dynasty was forming, but also because this short and gray guy starting posting funny 1 minute video recaps of the games. He made me more engaged and even excited to see what his takes were after the final out. I finally felt like there was another person out there who lived and died with every pitch. 2 years later, Jomboy and Jake have transcended the realm of Yankee baseball to the realm of baseball as a whole, highlighting the highs and lows of each team around the league and consistently going viral with their patented breakdowns. For what was, and still might be a tired sport, these guys cater to all baseball fans. Making even the casual followers of baseball more engaged, creating an outlet for everyone to see all the wacky and interesting moments that occur across 2,430 games in a season. I’m so happy to share my love for the Yankees, and baseball with these guys. I’m glad to have been there from their beginning and I’m so eager to see where they go. At this rate, Jomboy might as well become commissioner of MLB. I can’t help but emphasize that all baseball fans need to listen to him and Jake. Amazing work guys. Never stop. You’re savages behind the mic! (Relevant Boone Joke).
