“The host of this podcast routinely condemns the media for its alleged negative narrative and its inability to look at the team objectively. Well...the host might want to take a look in the mirror. This podcast is dedicated to his anti-media narrative. An objective view of the Mets will show a team that’s lost 9 of the last 11 seasons. They often deserve the bashing they get in the tabloids.
More on narratives: Mike loved to crush Terry for the team’s woes/culture. I don’t hear the same vitriol towards Mickey...for him to admit Mickey has done a piss poor job would go against his narrative. No surprise. Has the culture really improved under Mickey? Thats aside from his inept in-game decisions.
I give it 3 stars because there is no option to give 2.5 (half of five). I enjoy hearing the other side (pro-Mets) of the debate, but he loses credibility when he fails to cede some points. If he was as objective as he claims to be, I’d give it 5 Stars.”
