“I’ve lived in Manchester, UK for my entire life and I became a Mets fan when I was 15 years old in 2003. Over the years its been hard to find completely unbiased, balanced and independent views from real Mets fans as I have nobody to talk baseball with thousands of miles away from Shea/Citi. All I ever had were biased mainstream media viewpoints until I discovered Mikes podcast and I never looked back. I’m a New York sports fan living in the UK which makes finding truly great content a challenge; podcasts for the teams I support are often littered with endorsements, ads or clearly biased towards a mainstream media agenda but the Talkin’ Mets podcast (along side a certain New York Jets podcast ive loved for over 10 years) is the only one that showcases true independence in thought, opinion and content. I listen religiously every Monday morning which is when the new episodes drop in the UK and it is a true highlight of my week. These episodes are consistent in quality, timing and length and personally I value that a lot. I also value the authenticity and honesty that Mike brings to any discussion and regardless of whether I agree with him or not, he makes me think instead of doing what I feel a lot of podcast hosts do these days and just try and force their opinions on you. Five star, well informed Amazin’ podcast and one for all fanatical and causal Mets fan alike the world over”
