Encouraging pod with nuanced discussion
Thankful I found this podcast. I can only describe myself right now as post-Evangelical. That is, one who deeply believes in Jesus as redeemer, but one distraught and feeling alone after seeing the bizarre antics of the Evangelical community over several years ‘ time. Over the past couple years I have found kindred spirits - digitally - instead of in person, but it’s a start. My friends are not maga, but unconcerned, so we avoid this and talk about other things. Here, you find respect and generosity; I hope it rubs off on me so I can have a more significant conversation with others. But for now, I’m licking my wounds. Thanks you guys!

Fascinating guests and the host does a great job of being prepared for each guest and asking deep questions that stoke lots of conversations. Almost every episode, the guest says something like, “that’s a great question. No one has ever asked me that before.”

Ever wanted a podcast that doesn’t just place you in an echo chamber of your own opinions and challenges you to see other perspectives? This is the one. Shoutout corey for being an excellent host.
