“If like me, you are passionate about the game of baseball and making a positive impact on your young ball player or generally the youth of this world, then Coach Ballgame and Coach Chop are who I have found that we need to spend time with by listening to their podcast and platform.
Coach Ballgame is reminding the world that baseball is FUN and is broadening the sport while on a mission to engage even the smallest fans. He reminded me that it is OK to be a kid and that kids like being what they are “kids”, even though we can get caught up in heat of competition they don’t need to be treated like D1 athletes to reach their goals. His fun personas and unusual humor on the diamond shines to allow kids a platform to learn to love the game and more importantly how to treat others on and off the field. Due to his inspiration, sometimes when around my young ball players I feel like a mini Coach Ballgame knock off, but I’m quickly reminded how far I have to go when I fall short of his disciplined commitment to the big picture.
Coach Chop is the perfect complement to Ballgame. That absolutely does not mean he is not equally as humorous and passionate about baseball. However, he brings a different daily arena to the conversation: from his time working with MLB teams and intimate connections to future hall of famers, not to mention his current mission and role as a father of boys, and head coach leading HS “young men”. The regular recaps of diligently handling the moments of struggle with players and finding a way to relate to them on a personal level, all while leading them with a strong sense of faith and morality is a brilliant mix.
I don’t know these guys personally, yet, but I love these guys and their approach to the game, the players, their faith and family and I think you will too!”
