“Let me tell you something about these two boys... Jomboy and Jake consistently put together a show where I look forward to every episode. Their take on Yankees baseball is very realistic and down-to-earth while still being big Yankees fans themselves. What I mean by this, is that it’s not two fans that blow things out of proportion like you see on Twitter all the time from other meathead baseball fans. I think the reason Jomboy himself has gotten so much popularity recently is because of his attitude towards the team, his genuine personality, and just straight up having his head on straight. It’s refreshing to hear two sports fans that can articulate their thoughts so well. If you need proof, listen to their interviews with people like Bryan Hoch and Ryan Ruocco. Both interviewees respect the Talkin’ Yanks crew because they keep it fun and professional. It’s rare to see from a pair that have really just come on the rise. The 2017 Yankees season was entertaining in itself, but listening to Talkin’ Yanks really made it memorable for me.”
