This podcast deserves an award - It's Brilliant!
Okay Neil, it’s about time I gave you a review. I started listening in early 2022 and am 95 episodes in. This podcast is not just about horror books. It is one of the most fascinating discussions of books and literature in the podcasting arena. But it doesn’t stop there, Neil is a thoughtful, well read, and erudite host and asks his guests some great questions. I have learned so much about subjects I ‘thought’ I knew about, been challenged in my ways of thinking, and had my perceptions changed many times. As a Brit from Cumbria living in Nova Scotia, you often make me homesick too. I wish you, your wife and Ted the dog a very happy new year and just keep up the good work, you’re a star!

Neil is a very warm and engaging host. All his interviews, even the ones with authors that wouldn’t typically interest me, and great listens, and Ive discovered some real hidden gems. Talking scared has become a weekly listen for me
