“This is an excellent podcast for anyone who’s interested in reading scary books. I happened upon it whilst in the middle of trying to write my first horror novel (still at the editing stage!), and wanted to hear expert opinion and discussion on the subject. The presenter is so enthusiastic about the subject matter and considered with his questions, happy to deviate wherever the conversation will take them, but also not shy to have an informed debate and challenge his guests about their decisions and tastes when it’s necessary. His interviews and recommendations have led me to some excellent reads - three of the last four books I’ve read have been because of this podcast!”
