Written in the Stars: Chelsea and the 2011/12 Champions League

Description
Roman Abramovich bought Chelsea Football Club in 2003. His mission was making the club European heavyweights. Consequently, the west London side’s primary ambition was winning the UEFA Champions League. For years the Blues spent billions and hired multiple managers in the process, but heartbreak was the only outcome. After nearly a decade without the Champions League, Chelsea had a squad of aging superstars few thought would lift Europe’s top trophy ahead of Barcelona, Real Madrid, or Bayern Munich. With some help from a few friends, this Talking Tactics Documentary tells the story of Chelsea’s 2011/12 season, and how that team managed to achieve the improbable — perhaps even the impossible.
