Description
Are you after the NEWS, or the TRUTH? These are not the same.   How do we find out the truth about issues, and figure out what is the truth and what is just hype, media frenzy, and an attempt to increase ratings? How do we know if what we are reading or watching is the news, or the slanted view of the author or producer?  Truth is hard to find in the news, so here’s how I approach finding the truth in all the news we are drowning in each day. In the podcast, I go into detail about KNOWING THE SOURCE of the news or media is very important to knowing if it is just news and hype to sell advertising, or is it the facts of what has actually happened.  Sometimes knowing what is news vs. what is truth is hard to discern.  Reading a wide variety of news and sources, it's important to get the news from many different sources to get an accurate lay of the land, and know what has actually happened.  Here’s a few good places to start: National: Wall Street Journal wsj.com Patriot Post patriotpost.com Dennis Prager prageru.com Newsmax newsmax.com Glenn Beck GlennBeck.com The Federalist TheFederalist.com dailywire.com RealClearPolitics.com AmericanThinker.com c-span.org Hillsdale College Imprimis https://imprimis.hillsdale.edu Not The Bee NotTheBee.com Behold Israel BeholdIsrael.org American Greatness amgreatness.com Life Site News LifeSiteNews.com One America News Network oann.com Military Times militarytimes.com Epoch Times epochtimes.com Dan Bongino bongino.com Daily Mail (United Kingdom) dailymail.co.uk Christian Post christianpost.com Daily Caller dailycaller.com Red State redstate.com Washington Examiner washingtonexaminer.com Washington Times washingtontimes.com News Busters newsbusters.org Washington State: Washington Policy Center WashingtonPolicy.org Shift WA shiftwa.org TV Washington TVW.org Freedom Foundation FreedomFoundation.com Family Policy Institute of WA fpiw.org Truth never changes, and applies through the changing times and seasons, regardless of where one lives or what our personal feelings are about the news. The shelf life of news is very short, but…God’s truth will last forever.  “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever” (Isaiah 40:8). We are in a cultural war for our country, and the war is being fought with words. Therefore, it's important to distinguish between what is truth, and what is news, and who is the source of the news.
