Bad plotting, lacks research, an example of how not to write.
This audio book should be used a teaching aid about how not to write. Grammar is terrible, plotting is poor, the narrative is muddled and repetitive, and words are over used to such an extent you groan inwardly with their frequent usage, I nominate the words “silt” and “artefact” from the first chapter. Research was minimal; there were so many gaffs historical, scientific and archaeological I realised finishing the novel was to be an endurance test. I’ll bet this book was rejected by publishers and the only way to get it read was to offer it for free. Finally, although the reading was okay, I had to laugh when the male narrator described himself as a woman.

Lots of mystery, action and great story. Highly recommended. Well narrated by the author.

I really liked the story and how the narrator spoke. Would like to have known more at the end. Finished with too many questions.

Styles from Indiana Jones,...Read full review »
