A long time coming…
This is a good podcast for learning about or reminiscing on the old EU stories. Corey and his young cohost, Justin, are Canadian but don’t hold it against them too much. Justin manages to ensure that they’re more Red Green than Jacob Two-Two so the cringe factor usually isn’t too bad. Overall, they excel at providing insight and context into Legends that you can’t get from just skimming Wookieepedia summaries of events. That’s kind of nice if you’re like me and spent the preteen/early teen period of your Star Wars admiration reading through random Wookieepedia articles to learn about the sundries of Star Wars rather than reading most of these books. That being said, they’re pretty good if you actually have read the book of the week as well. Furthermore, as far as I know, this is the only Star Wars podcast, so if you need your Star Wars fix while you “work out” you can either listen to these two Star Wars GigaChads talking about the The Shape of Water subplot of the Galaxy Far Far Away You NEVER Knew Aboot or you can just listen to white noise and try to imagine you can hear voices talking about how Bantam originally intended to have Zorba the Hutt’s Revenge use characters from the Droids cartoon specifically just to screw with a similar project from Dark Horse or something. Those are your two options. Remember to keep an ear out for Justin doing his little Kermit “hm” sounds from time to time.

The best Harry Potter podcast with slight bumbling talk about Star Wars.

Stumbled across this a few weeks ago. Wasn’t sure if it would be any good but pleasantly surprised. Always nice to know there are people out there that love Star Wars as much as myself. Definitely worth a listen
