Dylan Schumaker, 19 years old when he was sentenced in January of 2014 for the murder of baby Austin Smith, his current girlfriend's two year old son. He was given the maximum punishment of 25 years to life when prosecutors proved the intent was in fact murder that fatal night. This sentence was modified to 18 years after appeals were made in the court system.
