“My old review is below, but I’m updating it. Saw the new ep in my feed and saw Ross Noble and even then thought- how naively - maybe today won’t be about Hollywood movie memorabilia, it just can’t keep on as a poor man’s Antiques Roadshow… the first story , the first $&@! story is about Spielberg buying antique tanks… this used to be really edgy and funny, now it’s as edgy as half-flat beach ball, and far less funny. Ash William’s solo show has somehow become vastly, vastly superior. Sadly, I’m out, and I once loved this show. Don’t know what Lawrence Mooney did to be cast into the outer dark, but when he was on this was the funniest podcast out there. Presently, courtesy of Ross Noble, it’s a great podcast for those interested in antiquated wokesters talking about their Hollywood memorabilia eBay acquisitions and 70s BBC sitcoms. I have an old uncle who can be relied upon for this kind of content, so presently have no need to subscribe. If Mooney ever returns to the original lineup I’ll be right back on board.”
