“It’s quite a thing to find relabel source on China tech with tends to be either overhyped or over gloomed, in any case focus on narration rather than more balanced approach. Personally I use the podcast not only for entertainment purposes but also a good point to start before doing some more research on companies. Take #GSX for example, it is not enough to hear both short and long narrative on the company to make sense of it, knowing industry landscape could be somewhat useful too .As far as I remember there was never a particular podcast on GSX but I might be wrong. However knowing more on their competitors, the online education market and most importantly what are the biggest issues for them provides me with more nuanced picture. To make things less candy-like, there is some just one little issues I wish to hear more on. Take the last episode on home broker #KE, I did understand the business model, industry and it’s history. That is great. I am not a tech guy by background so what I find interesting may not be a lot of new thing for bay area type of people. I don’t really know what makes KE loss making company, how much of it can be due to it’s new business venture (platform), how much could be attributed to weakness of it used to be their core business. What is their platform main financial burden. In 12 k education episode you mentioned consumer acquisition cost and difficulties with customer retention. That helped me a lot. Don’t take me wrong, I love what you are doing, listened to all or nearly all episodes so in a sense fun of techbuz, so please don’t take it to personal. The podcast is great anyway!”
