I love Ted Talks but....
... I really wish that the Ted Talks were more curated. It would be more beneficial to the average listener if the podcasts were arranged in such a way that if both positions of the discussion topic were played back to back; Or if supporting links could be provided. Or possibly making a disclaimer that the podcast we are listening to is based on Indian, European, or Chinese statistics, etc. There are a number of presentations that made generalized claims that do not translate Internationally. I understand that these claims are sometimes made to elicit a response in the listener, however I think at times the end result is heavily one sided at best and an « alternate fact » at worst. *quote selected as an ironic statement*

These videos are some of the most amazing displays of human ingenuity that I have ever seen. They are inspiring, insightful, moving and sometimes downright amazing! Such thoughts about improving the world as we know it are the reasons why humanity and life is such an incredible thing.
