Why can’t I keep listening in the background and do other things on my phone?!

“I love these talks, but there isn’t that much going on in the videos and I like to listen to them in the background while I look at other things on my screen while I commute- why can’t I do both? I listen to other podcasts more because I am able to do both. There should be an option to disable the video and just listen to the audio!”
